When creating your contract make sure to mirror your workflow into the contract, understand the steps you the photographer take. The reason behind contracts is to protect both the photographer and client. Make sure to always follow up after verbally communicating in any sorts of writing forms. Contracts also set the expectations of the experience and facilitates the type of customer service that is performed. Within the document you should include all party information (identify the party/client), booking information, payments/payment plans (base to base clients), and when they will get their images.

The three contracts are the main contract which includes the customer information, the model release contract includes getting permission to use/publish photos of the clients for commercially for use in advertising, or editorial purpose, copyrights. It also allows the the client to wave the composition of using their face or identifying features in photographs. The print release form allows the client to print for personal use while maintaining the rights of the photographer. Even though a client paid for a photo session and received digital copies does not mean they own the images. The product delivery agreement does not just end once the product is delivered. Third party documents is when you are working with another photographer or assistant and the product they make is technically theirs so to work with others an intellectual property documents may be useful. But having third party documents allows the transfer of product legally. Confidentiality agreement and non-solicitation is another document that third parties should agree too. All these legal activities and documents are meant to protect your self and work, to create a contract you should meet with a lawyer to finalize.
